The Department of Home Science at Ghaghra Science College, Bagodar focuses on the scientific understanding of family life, health, nutrition, resource management, and human development. The Department was established in the year 2021 with the objective of empowering students with practical knowledge and life skills that contribute to individual well-being and social development.

Home Science is an interdisciplinary subject that integrates science, social science, and humanities to enhance quality of life at individual, family, and community levels. The Department is leaded by H.O.D. Dr. Seema Kumari who is taking Department to new heights everyday.
