About the Department

The Department of Mathematics at Ghaghra Science College, Bagodar was established in 2021 with the objective of strengthening scientific education and analytical thinking among students. Affiliated with Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribag, the department is committed to providing a strong academic foundation in both pure and applied Mathematics.

Mathematics plays a crucial role in the advancement of science, technology, economics, and research. The Department under the guidance of H.O.D. Mrs Priyansha Jaiswal nurtures logical reasoning, problem-solving ability, and quantitative skills essential for academic excellence and professional success.

The curriculum is framed by Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribag, in accordance with UGC guidelines and NEP–2020. It emphasizes:
